Matikkakaveri — Privacy Policy

Based on the current Capacitor/Android build (fi.taipale.matikkakaveri). Directed at elementary maths practice under guardian supervision.

2. The app and audience
Matikkakaveri is a maths practice app for children. The current build is local (localStorage); there is no mandatory cloud account. Android package: fi.taipale.matikkakaveri.
3. Data processed
On device (localStorage): • nickname / local profile • progress and settings • local subscription UI state (currently presented as free; no store billing SDK found) Microphone / speech: • RECORD_AUDIO for spoken answers • TTS and speech recognition via the platform • the device speech service may use the network (depends on device / vendor)
4. What is not collected (current build)
The current codebase does not show: • Firebase or a pupil-data cloud • advertising • location or health data • an In-App Purchase implementation (subscription is a local UI model)
5. Children’s privacy
The app is for children’s practice. Data is kept local and minimised where possible. Do not have the child enter unnecessary personal data. The guardian is responsible for device use.
6. Deletion
