SARASTE — Privacy Policy

1. Controller

2. The app

SARASTE (Android/iOS ID: com.taipale.saraste) is a local calendar and scheduling app. Optional feature: sync to the user’s own Google Calendar via Google OAuth.

3. Data processed

On device (SQLite / SecureStore): • calendar and schedule data entered by the user • app settings • Google Calendar access tokens, if the user connects a Google account Network: • Google Calendar API only if the user enables sync • tokens are stored in SecureStore on the device

4. What is not collected (current build)

The current codebase does not show: • Firebase analytics or Firebase sign-in • advertising or ad IDs • health data • microphone or location use • a mandatory Taipale account

5. Purposes

Data is used only for app features: managing local schedules and optional Google Calendar sync at the user’s request.

6. Deletion

Local data is removed when the app is uninstalled or when the user clears app data in system settings. Google account access can be disconnected in the app; calendar permissions can also be revoked in Google account settings.
