2. The app

Taipale Sync scans timetable images with the camera / OCR and writes events to the device calendar. The user may create local child profiles (names).

3. Data processed

Locally: • child profile names • scanned / OCR-interpreted timetable data • events written to the calendar (device CalendarProvider) • Pro subscription status (Play Billing) Camera: images for OCR (on the device).

4. Storage and recipients

Personal profile and scan data are processed on the device. Calendar events are stored in the device calendar app / account chosen by the user. Google Play Billing handles purchases under Google’s terms. The app does not use Firebase Analytics.

5. Legal basis

Providing local features at the user’s request. Camera and calendar use rely on OS permissions.

6. Retention and deletion
