Privacy as a core principle
- • Speech is processed on the device whenever possible.
- • In Whisper Local mode, audio is not sent to the cloud for speech recognition.
- • Raw audio is not stored permanently.
- • A teacher/guardian can delete local pupil data in the app.
If Android SpeechRecognizer is used, processing depends on the device and its speech service. We do not claim that all speech recognition in the app is always fully on-device.
