Microphone does not work
Check that Lukukaveri has microphone permission in Android settings. Close other apps using the mic and try again in a quiet place.

Speech recognition does not match the word
Ask the child to read again clearly. If available in your build, try switching provider in Settings (Android SpeechRecognizer or Whisper Local).
The app does not hear the child
Verify mic permission, device volume and distance to the microphone. In Whisper Local mode the model must be present on device.
How do I change the speech provider?
If your build includes the option: Settings → Speech recognition → choose Android SpeechRecognizer or Whisper Local.
How do I delete practice data?

Does the app work offline?
Whisper Local speech recognition works on-device without a network. Android SpeechRecognizer may need the device speech service. The app declares INTERNET for system services; pupil data is still not sent to Taipale servers in this version.
Where is the child’s audio stored?
Raw audio is not stored permanently. Audio is processed as a short buffer for recognition. In Whisper Local mode processing stays on device.
